BECEITE IBEX
The Beceite Ibex is the second biggest Ibex in Spain. This one is located on the Eastern side of Spain, from the Tortosa-Beceite National Park going inland up to the Maestrazgo region. This Ibex fur is not as dark as the Gredos Ibex, but an old male uses to have very black chest and front legs, and the rest of the body is from a yellowish to a greyish-silver color, especially in wintertime. However, the main characteristic relies on its horns as they open sideways like a palm tree; just the tips of the horns turn wither to the back or twisted up. When looking them from the front, they look quite spectacular even sometimes bigger than they are, so good judging skills are needed.
